I'm back from egypt! the trip was awesome, i wrote a blog during the trip so i'm gonna write it here. :) this is a long bloggy blogg so enjoy!

day 2. @ minamark hotel, 5.58pm
it's been great here. yesterday was busy as hell, searching for luggages, getting info and so on. but we got the hotel rooms and since that it's been awesome. lots of people giving "whoa" looks and talks. they're selling boat trips, tattoos, rasta hair, massages etc...
today we went to change some money and bought some water etc small things. one cig pack is 13 egypt pounds, so it's like 1,50€. so really cheap. a bottle of water is more expensive than pack of cigs haha....then we ate lunch and went to the beach. it's easy, the beach is not far away, about 100m from our hotel room. and i also swam, it was frikkin cold salty water, big waves and rocky bottom. but it was fun anyways. one dude who wanted to put me some rastas also wanted to sell some kannabis.. :)
..now we're at the hotel room, getting ready for dinner @7pm. i'm drinking beer, smoking cigs and watching people walk by. everybody's so nice and happy here.
day 3. @hotel, 5.30pm.
today we woke up at 8.30 and went to have a breakfast. after that we went to the shops but i didn't buy anything too big. then we ate lunch and went to the beach. now i'm just chilling at the balcony and having a beer. at 6 we're off to an 1 hour massage! people are so kind. :) pouring me some drinks and saying i look cool haha...but some of them are annoying, i mean the salesmen, u can barely get rid of them..but it's not too bad. and i'm off now, bye :)
day 4. @balcony, 6.25pm
i'm drinking a beer (again) and chilling at the balcony wearing shorts and a t-shirt. the weather is finely warm. today we went to the beach and booked a diving trip for tomorrow. it includes all the gear (wetsuit, mask, air bottle etc..) 55€ with lunch. it's from 8.30am to 4pm i think. we're soon off to have a dinner and after that i'm gonna chill with this shisha dude. smoking, having tea and chatting. he's really relax and easygoing. i might even buy a shisha if i can bargain a good price ;).
i have some sunburns but nothing too bad. my skin burns fast but doesn't colorize blah...
but yeah it''s been a nice day and it's getting better. now i need to get ready for dinner.
day 5. @hotel room, 5.59pm
it's been an awesome day , we went to the diving trip. i woke up at 7 and went to have a breakfast with my sister and her boyfriend. after that i came back and packed my stuff and we left to the diving boat. it was a big boat, maybe 15meters? normal floor and one upper deck. the trip to the diving spot was kinda long and wind was a bit freezy, but not too much tho cuz the sun was hot.
then at the diving spot we went to change the diving gear on. first the wetsuit (tight as hell), then diving belt (kinda heavy) and the vest where are held the air bottle and all the hoses and tubes (really heavy). then we put the mask on and the "flappers". we jumped into the water and it was cooold. at first i couldn't breath normally through the regulator. i guess it was the cold water that made it. it was a bit shock for being so cold hah. it's heavy to breath through the regulator, it's not like breathing normally. after a short time i got a little bit more relaxed and started to breath okay. after that we started to dive and went about 5 meters down and watched the corals and fishes. suddenly i felt my mask trying to get off and i tried to put it back but it didn't go. i showed a sign to go back to the surface to put my mask on correctly. after that we dove back down and watched fishes n stuff. came back up and took off the gear and relaxed for a while, went to have a lunch and relaxed more while the boat drove to another diving spot.
then we waited for another group to finish their dive and it was our turn to dive again. same thing, put on the gears and jump into the water. then we started to dive and went to see this huge coral reef and all the colorful fishes. there were lots of different fished and shells and all that stuff. they looked amazing and so strongly colorful! we swam around and went down and i stood on a coral, touched one and looked all the beautiful stuff. after some time diving we came back up and again, took all the gear off, went to the upper deck and i had to get a cig and a coke. :) we sat there and waited for iikis boyfriend to come up. then we just relaxed at the deck talking, drinking and smoking.
we left back to the hotel and the wind was crazy, as the waves were too. we arrived back to the ground and ahh that was an awesome feeling. after that we had a few beers at the beach and came back to the hotel room. now we're leaving to dinner and then off to the american hard rock café :)
day 6. @hotel, 6.32pm
again sitting at the balcony but now drinking some fanta. listening to bon jovi and taking a chill pill. today we had a breakfast and went to the beach. then lunch and back to the beach! that's all. soon off to dinner and and a cobra show. tomorrow we have a fishing trip (lots of sun), beach (more sun) and packing (blah) :( i could stay here for so much longer...but anyways i'm gonna enjoy the rest of the time, no worries.. :)
day 7. @hotel bar, 11.05pm
the fishing trip was good, waves were high tho. i'm really tired now, having my last beer here at the bar. blah, leaving tomorrow :( sucks badly...but this was a holiday, have to get back to the normal "life". we need to get up at 7, bus to the airport leaves 8.45. flight leaves after 11 and i'll be in finland at 5pm? then driving back to home for 5hours...so it's night when i'm back in kokkola..
day 8. @hotel room, 12.03am
so my last day here in egypt just started. i'm having a smoke on the balcony and listening to voices. i can hear talk, footsteps, car horns, coughing, snoring, more car sounds and yelling. door slammed...talking..snoring...i'm really tired, had a long day at the sea. i think i saw a dolphing too. :) lots of fishes and jellys! but now i'm gonna hit the bed, too darn tired and long day ahead. so see ya back in finland....
ps. my legs hurt SO BAD :) can barely walk cuz of the burns haha.

that was the blog from the trip. all i need to say: it was awesome! maybe next year again ;) i saw a few camels, only one dog but 3 cats. one donkey haha and lots of birds and a few cockroaches...the taxi drivers were crazy there, they drove furiously and they used the horn all the time. like if u were just walking down the street, there were like 10 taxis horning to you and stopping...it's fun how the culture is so much different there and here. there you can smoke inside the café, inside bars, inside shops, like everywhere. here u can barely smoke outside haha. i saw a couple cops. we had a security inside our hotel, and on the streets were at least one cop/soldier with ak-47...nicely guarded area..haha and i saw one motorcycle cop speeding and switching lanes and wearing no helmet. it's so different there than here haha. and all the salesmen on the street came like "come here. where you from, hello! terve terve, how are you? come here, come see, i have low prizes, come here cmoon!" and they almost dragged u inside their shops. this one sunglass dude was so fucking annoying. he showed me one set of glasses and put them on to me and said my glasses are for girls. and i tried to say "no" for about million times but he wouldn't let go haha. he tried to sell me some stupid looking raybans but i got away from it, huh....
i slept the whole flight back to finland. it was so boring, but the food was fine. we arrived back to kokkola at 3am.
today off to friends birthday party,cheers! ;)
